Cashmere Material Quality Lead

About the role

Quince is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Lead with deep expertise in cashmere and fine fibers. The role is pivotal in guaranteeing that every product, from raw fiber to finished garment, meets the brand’s rigorous quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement quality standards across raw fiber, dehaired fiber, yarns, and finished goods.
• Establish and manage a dedicated testing centre, creating lab protocols for fiber fineness, length, color consistency, strength, pilling, and dye fastness.
• Analyze supply‑chain stages to understand their impact on final product quality and design preventive measures.
• Build, lead, and develop a QA/QC team, providing training and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing and production teams to align quality initiatives with brand strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or similar role in cashmere or fine‑fiber environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a technical team.
• Deep understanding of textile testing methods and quality standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sourcing, production, and design teams.
