Business Development Manager

About the role

WildMongolia offers sustainable travel experiences in remote Mongolia, connecting guests with local communities, culture and nature. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager based in Ulaanbaatar. The role identifies and develops new partnerships with local and international travel agencies, tour operators and conservation organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new partnership opportunities with travel agencies, tour operators and conservation organisations.
• Manage sales pipelines, negotiate contracts and create tailored travel packages aligned with the company's sustainable travel ethos.
• Analyse market trends, prepare business proposals and work with operations, marketing and local community partners to support revenue growth.
• Represent the company at industry events, nurture long-term client relationships and give feedback to improve products and customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, tourism, hospitality or a related sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism or hospitality; familiarity with Mongolia and its local culture is highly beneficial.
