Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales activities for APU’s beverage portfolio across an assigned region, based in Ulaanbaatar. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on growing revenue, volume and profitability while upholding brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales plans, monitor performance and market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts, including contract negotiation.
• Lead, coach and motivate the regional sales team, set objectives and track results.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to optimise promotions, product availability and customer service.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and analysis for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing regional or territory sales in FMCG, beverages or a related industry with a record of meeting targets.
• Strong ability to analyse data, forecast sales and make data‑driven decisions.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams, providing feedback and setting objectives.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region and occasionally across Mongolia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field; advanced qualifications a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for sales reporting and pipeline management.
• Advanced Excel skills for planning, tracking and analysis.
• PowerPoint for creating presentations and reports.
