Community Coordinator – Area Development Program

About the role

The Community Coordinator acts as a catalyst and partnership broker, strengthening community‑led initiatives that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families. Working within the Area Development Program (ADP), the role ensures program quality through planning, implementation and monitoring together with local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate community‑led initiatives, develop annual Area Development Program plans, and ensure proper budget utilization following World Vision policies.
• Maintain and update Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) mapping, track child outcomes, and adapt strategies to meet MVC targets.
• Integrate Future Ready Sponsorship (FRS) processes with community activities, manage child selection, monitoring standards, and sponsor‑child communications.
• Lead local advocacy aligned with World Vision Mongolia’s strategic priorities, incorporating child protection, sanitation, climate resilience and gender‑based issues.
• Collect and analyse monitoring data with community volunteers, produce regular reports, and share learning with stakeholders and donors.
