Insurance Technician (Remote)

About the role

Coverhill is a Mongolian insurance broking and allied services firm licensed and regulated by the Financial Regulatory Commission, advising and negotiating insurance and reinsurance solutions for commercial clients. It offers a full-time remote position for an Insurance Technician who supports brokers and advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare documentation, maintain policy records and assist with the placement and renewal of insurance and reinsurance programs.
• Collect and verify client information and compile underwriting data.
• Prepare quotes and comparison summaries and update internal systems.
• Communicate with clients and insurance partners to clarify coverage details, answer routine inquiries and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and documentation skills, including accurate data entry, record keeping and document preparation.
• Analytical ability to review policy terms, compare quotations and spot discrepancies.
• Effective written and spoken English; Mongolian is an advantage.
• Organized, able to handle several tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Prior experience in insurance, reinsurance, finance or a related field is preferred but not strictly required for strong entry-level candidates; a degree or vocational training in business, finance or economics is beneficial.

• Comfort with digital tools and insurance management systems.
