Tax Reporting & Strategy Associate

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Associate to join our Tax Reporting and Strategy team in Ulaanbaatar. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support clients with tax, accounting and payroll compliance while building a solid foundation in tax advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of statutory tax, accounting and payroll compliance engagements.
• Assist in preparing tax returns, calculations and regulatory filings.
• Gather, organise and analyse client information for engagement delivery.
• Communicate with tax, social insurance and other regulatory authorities as needed.
• Research tax legislation and prepare client deliverables such as reports and memoranda.
• Prepare draft reports, working papers and other engagement documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client deadlines and uphold quality standards.
• Utilise technology and digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Client‑service orientation, curiosity and willingness to learn.
