Senior Associate in Tax Reporting and Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join our Tax Reporting and Strategy team. The role involves supporting clients with tax, accounting and payroll compliance while navigating an evolving regulatory environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and leverage technology to deliver high‑quality client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage statutory tax, accounting and payroll compliance engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare tax returns, calculations, reports and other regulatory filings accurately and on time.
• Assist clients with tax reporting requirements and liaise with tax, social insurance and other authorities.
• Conduct tax research, draft memoranda, reports and client communications.
• Analyze legislative developments and assess their impact on clients.
• Support tax planning, risk management initiatives and review junior team members’ work.
• Utilize digital tools and technology solutions to improve service efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting or payroll advisory services.
• Good understanding of Mongolian tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with tax technology solutions.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools.
