Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support Erdenejas LLC’s mine development and operations by preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to guide decision‑making. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Ulaanbaatar and works closely with operations, procurement, and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for mining projects.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with various funding activities.
• Analyze project economics and prepare internal reports and presentations for leadership.
• Monitor financial performance against plans and review financial statements.
• Conduct macroeconomic and precious metals market research.
• Implement hedging strategies.
• Provide insights on cost control, capital expenditures, and profitability.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of practical experience in financial management within the mining sector.
• Strong finance knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements and prepare reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ulaanbaatar and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
