Accountant

About the role

Andglobal is looking for an Accountant in Ulaanbaatar to organize the company's financial operations efficiently. You will prepare research-based analysis to support business and investment decisions, forecast trends, develop budgets and ensure financial records, taxes and reports are accurate and on time under Mongolian law.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and report financial statements and balance sheets on time.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with relevant laws and standards.
• Collect financial data, prepare monthly reports, analyse variances and consolidate trends.
• Review calculations, reconcile accounts payable and receivable and monitor processes to prevent bad debt.
• Carry out semi-annual and annual inventories of fixed and current assets and report to management.
• Manage accounting and records for office supplies and materials.
• Audit source documents and record all financial transactions.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of current tax environments, tax laws and regulations.
• Ability to keep financial records in line with IFRS and to prepare semi-annual and year-end financial and tax statements independently.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and teamwork skills, and good communication skills.
• Desire for continuous learning and professional growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Preferred: advanced English, experience in group financial consolidation, ACCA or CPA studies, and a CPA or CTC certification in Mongolia.
