PNS Project Coordinator

About the role

World Vision Mongolia is seeking a dedicated PNS Project Coordinator to lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of privately funded projects that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children. The role works closely with local government, civil society and community partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project cycle for PNS‑funded initiatives, from concept development to reporting.
• Facilitate consultative planning sessions with stakeholders and beneficiaries.
• Prepare high‑quality project proposals, concept notes and funding applications.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures comply with World Vision financial policies and donor guidelines.
• Monitor project performance, collect data and produce regular progress reports.
• Support resource mobilisation by identifying funding opportunities and cultivating partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with national laws, organisational standards and donor requirements.
• Build local capacity and promote community ownership of interventions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or management within the NGO or development sector.
• Strong understanding of child‑focused development themes such as education, health, child protection, livelihoods and WASH.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, NGOs and community groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Commitment to the mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children.
