PNS Project Coordinator

About the role

The Private Non‑Sponsorship (PNS) Project Coordinator will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of internally funded projects that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children in Mongolia. Reporting to the LSP & PNS Manager, the role works closely with local government, civil society and community partners to ensure projects align with World Vision’s child‑focused objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate consultative planning, reflection and feedback sessions with project stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities with key partners and beneficiaries, ensuring timely execution.
• Manage project budgets in line with donor approvals and World Vision financial policies.
• Prepare and submit regular monitoring reports and financial statements.
• Identify funding opportunities, contribute to proposal development and lead the drafting of concept notes.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives for local partners and promote community ownership of interventions.

Required profile

• Experience in managing development or humanitarian projects, preferably in education, health, child protection, livelihoods or WASH.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, financial management and reporting standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government, NGOs and community groups.
• Commitment to child‑focused development and community empowerment.
