Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Part-Time 60%)

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support the KOICA‑funded “Promotion of Gender Equality in Public Decision‑Making and the Empowerment of Women and Youth in Mongolia” project. Working under the National Project Manager, the officer will design, implement and maintain a results‑based M&E system to track progress, collect data and produce evidence‑based reports in line with UNDP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a results‑based Monitoring and Evaluation system aligned with the Project Document, Results Framework and approved indicators.
• Define data sources, collection methods (surveys, interviews, observations) and frequency; coordinate with government M&E units and donor focal points.
• Collect, analyse and manage baseline and progress data; conduct bi‑weekly monitoring of partner implementation and prepare analytical updates for project steering bodies.
• Produce regular monitoring reports, visual and audio‑visual products, and document lessons learned and success stories for dissemination.
• Provide capacity‑building workshops on results‑based management, theory of change and monitoring for M&E focal points and support independent evaluations.
