Community Coordinator for Dornod ADP

About the role

The Community Coordinator will act as a catalyst and partnership broker, strengthening community‑led initiatives that improve the well‑being of children and families in the Dornod area. Working closely with local partners, volunteers and World Vision staff, the role ensures program quality through planning, implementation and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor community programmes, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s Adaptive Program Approach and Future Ready Sponsorship.
• Develop and update Annual Area Development Program plans, manage budgets and engage all relevant community groups.
• Maintain and analyse Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) mapping to guide strategy and track outcomes.
• Integrate child protection, gender‑based issues, environmental considerations and conflict resolution into all activities.
• Coordinate child sponsorship processes, including selection criteria, monitoring standards and sponsor‑child communications.
• Collect monitoring data with community members, conduct impact analysis and report findings to management and donors.
• Lead local advocacy initiatives, linking child protection, sanitation and climate resilience to programme goals.
• Document progress, lessons learned and success stories in regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
