Project Coordinator for Disaster Risk Reduction Project

About the role

World Vision Mongolia is looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to lead the Rapid Interventions through Shared Engagement (RISE) Grant Project. This fixed‑term position will oversee project planning, implementation, monitoring and stakeholder engagement to strengthen community resilience and child‑focused disaster risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and supportive supervision to field teams, ensuring quality implementation and grant compliance.
• Serve as the technical focal point for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Anticipatory Action (AA) and community preparedness interventions.
• Develop and maintain annual, quarterly and monthly operational plans with clear KPIs, timelines, risk mitigation measures and budget allocations.
• Coordinate Community Participatory Disaster Risk Assessments (CPDRA) and assist communities in updating disaster preparedness and action plans.
• Facilitate capacity‑building trainings on AA, Be Ready modules, CPDRA, Comprehensive School Safety Framework and Junior Rescuer Club.
• Lead the activation and implementation of Anticipatory Action in line with national and international humanitarian standards.

Required profile

• Qualified and motivated candidates with experience in humanitarian project coordination.
• Strong understanding of DRR, AA and community‑based preparedness approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government partners, NGOs and local communities.
