Traveling Store Set-up Specialist

About the role

Do you love to travel, stay active, and work on a team that gets projects done? Join the Pet Supplies Plus traveling store set‑up team and help launch new retail locations across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and accompany store team members with unloading merchandise, installing shelving, and stocking shelves according to store standards.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines.
• Provide status updates to Store Leaders and Development Leaders.
• Partner with the construction team on punch‑list items and implement new procedures for store openings.

Required profile

• Ability to travel 90%+ of the year, including overnight trips up to 45 weeks per year.
• Experience leading teams or directing others in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Physical capability to lift up to 45 lb and stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license, minimum age 21, and reliable personal transportation.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules, including days, nights, and weekends, and pass a drug screening.
