Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

Asset Solution Mongolia LLC is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead the efficient acquisition of goods and services for its operations. Reporting to the Supply Department Manager, you will shape procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase equipment, tools, materials, spare parts, and consumables from domestic and international suppliers.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, sourcing plans, and annual purchasing budgets.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/tenders, evaluate bids, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Resolve transportation, customs, and logistics issues in coordination with freight forwarders.
• Guide, coach, and review the work of junior Procurement Officers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/supply‑chain experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or team‑lead role.
• Proven track record of international sourcing and experience with OEM and aftermarket suppliers.
• Advanced spoken and written proficiency in English and Mongolian.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are a plus.
