Fund Manager

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Mongolia involves managing assigned investment portfolios, monitoring performance, and executing transactions in line with fund strategy and risk guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance holdings and execute transactions.
• Conduct market and company analysis, evaluate investment opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Present investment recommendations to senior leadership or investment committees.
• Track macro‑economic trends, financial news and regulatory changes affecting portfolios.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Interact with clients and partners to explain fund strategies and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and assess risk‑return profiles.
• Solid knowledge of investments, portfolio construction and capital markets.
• Experience in investment management and managing diversified funds or mandates.
• Understanding of equities and equity valuation methods (fundamental and comparative analysis).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel and common analytical tools; portfolio management system experience is a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Mongolia, collaborate in a team and manage multiple priorities.
