Area HR Generalist – Mongolia

About the role

We are seeking an Area HR Generalist to support our operations in Mongolia and the surrounding region. Reporting to the Area HR Operations Manager, you will act as the primary HR liaison for employees, ensuring smooth HR processes and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for employees across Mongolia and other countries, addressing HR‑related issues and facilitating resolutions.
• Administer HR policies and lead compliance efforts with Mongolian employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain required documentation for government agencies.
• Update employee records, including promotions and position changes.
• Support talent acquisition and onboarding: post jobs, screen applicants, conduct interviews, prepare offer letters, and manage provisioning requests.
• Facilitate compensation and benefits activities such as coaching, promotions, and salary adjustments.
• Create and deliver workforce communications for the area.
• Assist with workforce relations, including basic investigations and dispute resolution.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Current temple recommend (required).
• At least 6 years of relevant HR experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices with a compliance mindset.
• Proficiency in using HR systems and technology tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality customer service and handle confidential information professionally.
