Supply Chain Specialist – Logistics & Customer Service

About the role

As a Supply Chain Specialist at Epiroc Mongolia LLC, you will coordinate end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services that meet customer expectations. The role links customers, sales, planning, distribution centres and product companies, supporting the anticipated growth in consumable demand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with sales, planners and warehouse teams to guarantee accurate, on‑time delivery of customer orders, manage back‑orders and verify price and product information.
• Analyze customer requirements and prepare comprehensive price and lead‑time quotations using up‑to‑date pricing files and systems.
• Process spare‑parts orders through the Epiroc ERP system, ensuring accuracy from order acceptance to purchase‑order generation for distribution centres.
• Maintain proactive communication with distribution centres to monitor order status, allocation, picking, packing and shipping activities.
• Oversee receiving processes, allocate and pick goods against internal and external orders, and prepare delivery documentation tailored to customer specifications.
• Issue financial documents such as proforma invoices, sales invoices and credit notes; verify pricing lists and perform credit‑limit checks before delivery.
• Manage inventory by reviewing monthly stock levels, coordinating returns, redistributions, and scrapping or impairment in line with company policies.
• Support and back‑up other departmental functions and prepare timely reports for Epiroc Mongolia and MMEG management.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of supply‑chain management, including procurement, demand planning, inventory control, logistics and supplier relationships.
• Experience engaging with suppliers, managing quotations, purchase orders and contract support activities.
• Ability to analyse demand, lead times and inventory to support accurate forecasting.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with sales, planning and warehouse teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
