Sales and Marketing Coordinator (Ulaanbaatar)

About the role

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join Sandvik Mongolia’s head office in Ulaanbaatar. The role will support the sales team by planning and executing marketing activities that drive growth, strengthen customer relationships and promote the Sandvik brand in the Mongolian mining market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing materials, proposals, customer presentations and sales‑enablement tools.
• Maintain and update CRM data, sales collateral and market‑intelligence databases, including NPS surveys.
• Coordinate local marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional activities with regional teams.
• Create and publish engaging content across digital and traditional channels to enhance brand presence.
• Produce bilingual (English and Mongolian) marketing and communication materials.
• Plan and execute customer events, technical seminars, exhibitions and other engagement initiatives.
• Support internal communications by preparing business updates, success stories and sales announcements.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to translate complex information into clear customer messages.
• Ensure all activities comply with Sandvik’s brand standards and approval processes.
• Manage sponsorships, external vendors and service providers, monitoring budgets and inventory of marketing assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the mining or heavy‑equipment industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Professional proficiency in English is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Mongolian.
