Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team and strengthen Storepay’s governance, risk management, and internal control framework. This role is responsible for conducting independent audits, assessing risks and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the organization's sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audits in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
• Assess the effectiveness of operational, financial, compliance, and IT controls.
• Review AML/CFT, fraud prevention, and personal data protection controls.
• Prepare audit reports, findings, and practical recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and report audit progress.
• Maintain audit documentation and working papers in line with professional standards.
• Support special reviews, investigations, and other assignments as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, risk management, or a related area.
• Good understanding of internal audit standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Familiarity with Mongolian financial sector regulations and corporate governance principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report‑writing skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• High ethical standards, integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
