Community Coordinator – Songinokhairkhan ADP (2 positions)

About the role

World Vision is seeking two Community Coordinators to support its Area Development Program (ADP) in Songinokhairkhan. The role acts as a catalyst and partnership broker, strengthening community‑led initiatives that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor community programmes in partnership with local organisations (30% of effort).
• Develop annual Area Development Program plans, ensure budget compliance and follow World Vision’s Adaptive Program Approach and Future Ready Sponsorship methodology.
• Engage Regional Coordinators (RCs) in age‑appropriate activities and ensure inclusion of all children, including the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC).
• Maintain and update MVC mapping, track target markers and adapt strategies to improve outcomes.
• Integrate child protection, gender‑based considerations, Christian values, environmental and conflict‑resolution principles into programme design.
• Conduct self‑reviews with stakeholders, incorporate lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of programme quality.
• Collect monitoring data with community volunteers and partners, analyse results and support evidence‑based decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience in community development or similar field, preferably within an NGO context.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local partners, volunteers and World Vision staff.
• Understanding of child protection, gender issues and vulnerability mapping.
• Commitment to Christian values and ethical standards.
• Strong planning, monitoring and reporting skills.
