Tax Reporting & Strategy Internship

About the role

We are seeking a motivated intern to join PwC’s Tax Reporting and Strategy team in Ulaanbaatar. You will support tax compliance and strategy projects, gaining hands‑on experience with a variety of clients across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax compliance processes, including payroll calculations, personal income tax and social insurance filings, and documentation review.
• Prepare client deliverables such as presentations, training materials, and summary reports.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new tools and solutions.
• Manage administrative tasks for client projects, including file organization, data management, and record‑keeping in line with PwC policies.
• Attend client meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
• Liaise with state authorities on client matters when needed.
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional groups to deliver high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Currently in the 3rd or final year of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Strong academic performance and genuine interest in tax, accounting or consulting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive mindset, collaborative approach and high integrity when handling confidential information.
