Tax Intern

About the role

PwC Mongolia is looking for a motivated Tax Intern to join its Transfer Pricing and Tax Consulting teams. The role offers hands‑on exposure to tax advisory projects, client interactions and internal training within a global professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing benchmarking studies and transfer pricing documentation using financial databases and industry research.
• Support translation of transfer pricing documents and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Draft tax memos, client advisory notes and basic research on Mongolian tax laws under supervision.
• Manage administrative tasks for client projects, including file organization, data management and record‑keeping in line with PwC policies.
• Participate in internal meetings, training sessions and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver client services effectively.

Required profile

• Third‑ or final‑year university student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong academic record with a keen interest in tax advisory, accounting or consulting.
• Flexibility, ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
