Supply Chain Specialist – Fixed‑Term (2 positions)

About the role

World Vision is seeking two Supply Chain Specialists to support the delivery of its programmes in Mongolia. The role focuses on managing sourcing, negotiations and procurement processes to ensure timely, cost‑effective and ethical acquisition of goods and services for vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Supply Chain function in line with World Vision procedures to improve processes, simplify operations and contain costs.
• Manage sourcing and negotiation with suppliers, review contracts and validate quality of delivered goods.
• Assist line managers in decision‑making to procure the right goods and services at the right price.
• Participate in developing functional strategy, annual business plans and procurement plans with stakeholders.
• Conduct market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, and lead RFQ/RFP/RFI processes for assigned categories.
• Lead negotiations, prepare procurement committee submissions and ensure informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain within an international or humanitarian context.
• Ability to work with partners, sub‑grantees and internal teams to align procurement planning.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of ethical standards and quality assurance in procurement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RFQ/RFP/RFI processes and supplier pre‑qualification.
• Familiarity with market assessment and price survey methodologies.
