Senior Investment Manager

About the role

Netcapital Financial Group is seeking a Senior Investment Manager to lead the development and execution of investment strategies across multiple asset classes. Based in Ulaanbaatar, this full‑time, on‑site position will shape portfolio performance while supporting the company’s AI‑driven financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth financial and market analysis to identify new investment opportunities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor diversified investment strategies aligned with risk appetite.
• Manage existing portfolios, optimize asset allocation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare investment proposals, performance reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior investment staff.
• Enhance internal investment frameworks, tools, and governance processes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in investment management with hands‑on experience in diversified portfolios.
• Advanced analytical ability for financial modeling, valuation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
• Solid foundation in capital markets, portfolio theory, and corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; CFA or FRM certification is a plus.
• Experience in emerging markets or financial institutions, preferably in Mongolia.
• High integrity, data‑driven decision making, and excellent English communication skills.
