Sales Account Manager

About the role

The Sales Account Manager will be based on‑site in Ulaanbaatar, driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the engineering and industrial sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high customer satisfaction while identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, delivering consistent service excellence.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation and market research.
• Prepare, present and deliver proposals that meet client technical and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and supply teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
• Conduct regular client meetings, follow up on inquiries and negotiate contracts within defined guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM and sales tracking tools.
• Monitor market trends, provide feedback to management and support continuous product and service improvements.

Required profile

• Strong account management and customer service orientation.
• Experience in lead generation and sales development, preferably within engineering, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly.
• Proven ability to build long‑term client relationships and collaborate across functions.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
• Good understanding of engineering or industrial products; experience in energy or resources industries is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with common office software and CRM tools; strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
