Retail Operation Director

About the role

The Retail Operation Director is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of a network of stores, ensuring operational standards, driving sales profitability, and leading store teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of all network stores, maintaining consistent standards and processes.
• Monitor sales plans, revenue and expense budgets, and develop strategies to improve profitability.
• Lead, coach and evaluate store managers and staff, fostering high team productivity.
• Control inventory by overseeing receipt, stock levels, turnover, and loss with the supply‑chain team.
• Implement and monitor service standards to keep customer satisfaction at a high level.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular reports for senior management and support rapid decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in retail, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, motivate staff and resolve conflicts quickly.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capability to base strategic planning on financial and sales data.
