About the role

We are seeking a Mongolia‑based Capital Markets Expert to join our team as a Local Advisory Partner for an upcoming assignment focused on assessing the country’s capital market landscape and identifying opportunities for future engagements in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Mongolia’s capital markets, including market infrastructure, regulatory frameworks and financial products.
• Develop diagnostic reports and strategic recommendations to support market development and reform initiatives.
• Engage with financial regulators, policymakers, market institutions and other public‑sector stakeholders to gather insights and validate findings.
• Identify potential areas for future advisory or implementation projects based on assessment outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong, demonstrable experience in Mongolia’s capital markets and financial system.
• Proven track record of working with financial regulators, market institutions, policymakers or other public‑sector stakeholders.
• Experience in emerging and frontier markets, particularly in capital market development and financial sector reform.
