Community Coordinator - Songinokhairkhan ADP

About the role

World Vision is hiring a Community Coordinator for its Songinokhairkhan Area Development Program (ADP). The role acts as a catalyst and partnership broker and builds the capacity of local partners, coordinating community-led initiatives that improve and sustain the well-being of children and their families. It works within communities to enable mutual transformation and applies the Future Ready Sponsorship (FRS) approach to link sponsorship with measurable child results.

Key responsibilities

• Program quality: plan, implement and monitor with communities and partners, create annual Area Development Program plans within the set timeline, follow the Adaptive Program Approach and FRS, and include all RCs in age-appropriate activities
• Track the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) mapping, mainstream child protection, gender-based issues, environmental considerations and conflict resolution, and run a program quality self-review
• Collect monitoring data with community members and partners, analyse impact and sustainability indicators, and lead local advocacy aligned with World Vision Mongolia's priorities
• Document progress, learning and change stories in monthly, semi-annual and annual reports, and share AIM measurements and child results with stakeholders
• Sponsorship management (25%): align child sponsorship with the Global Centre and Support offices' strategy, develop child selection criteria, support the Child Monitoring Standard, cluster RCs by age, manage sponsor-child communication and visits, and integrate sponsorship into ADP plans
• Maintain sponsorship systems (SSUI, Horizon mobile, IMPAQ) and safeguard child data and sponsor information
• Engage communities by communicating World Vision's mission and values, listening to children and the most vulnerable, and building strong relationships among local stakeholders
• Build the capacity of partners and the community
