Business Analyst – Telecommunications

About the role

This full-time, on-site Business Analyst position is based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. You will collect, analyse and document business requirements across Unitel Group’s telecommunications and ICT operations, supporting process improvements and solution design.

Key responsibilities

• Map and improve business processes, preparing functional specifications.
• Conduct data‑driven analyses, create reports and dashboards.
• Present insights and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, product management and other cross‑functional teams to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and identifying trends.
• Proven business analysis abilities, including requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Effective communication skills for working with diverse teams and presenting findings.
• Knowledge of business process mapping and ability to identify gaps.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, information systems or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in telecommunications, ICT or a data‑driven industry (advantage).
• Familiarity with process‑modeling tools, reporting tools and project‑management methodologies (preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
