Lawyer's Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Lawyer’s Assistant to join our team at IP Infinity Partners LLP in Ulaanbaatar. The role supports senior lawyers in delivering high‑quality legal services to our corporate and cross‑border clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, analyse statutes, regulations and court decisions, and summarise findings for lawyers.
• Draft, review and format a variety of legal documents including contracts, memoranda, letters and court submissions.
• Organise case files, manage evidence, and prepare materials for client meetings, negotiations and court hearings.
• Provide translation and interpretation between Mongolian and English or Chinese when required.
• Maintain accurate records, coordinate schedules, monitor deadlines and follow‑up on tasks under lawyer supervision.
• Perform administrative duties such as document management, filing and basic office coordination.

Required profile

• Strong legal research and writing abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience drafting and formatting legal documents.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work under supervision.
• Proficiency in Mongolian; working knowledge of English and/or Chinese is a plus.
• High ethical standards, discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field, or ongoing legal studies; prior law‑firm experience is advantageous.
