Audit Senior Associate

About the role

PwC Mongolia is seeking a detail‑oriented Audit Senior Associate to lead audit engagements, support client compliance, and contribute to the firm’s high‑quality audit practice. This position is ideal for professionals with a few years of accounting or audit experience who thrive in collaborative, fast‑paced environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit assignments while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies.
• Analyse financial statements and related documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Identify risks in financial processes and controls, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and delivering audit insights.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
• Guide junior associates, fostering their development and enhancing overall team performance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to improve audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
