ANSUL Superintendent – Mining Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ANSUL Superintendent to lead fire‑suppression system activities for heavy mobile equipment at the Oyu Tolgoi mining site. The role ensures safety, reliability and compliance of ANSUL systems while providing technical leadership and developing national technician capability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of ANSUL fire‑suppression systems on heavy equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure systems meet OEM specifications, customer requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting complex system issues and review technical drawings and manuals.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance resources, supporting efficient operations.
• Lead and coach maintenance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE, Zero Harm principles and statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and technical documentation, meeting contractual reporting obligations.
• Build strong relationships with mining customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ANSUL fire‑suppression systems in a mining or heavy‑equipment environment.
• Strong technical leadership with the ability to develop and mentor technicians.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
