Accountant – Finance & Payroll

About the role

Sika Mongolia is seeking a diligent Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, payroll processing, and cash‑flow control. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain the integrity of the general ledger and support the company’s growth in the building and automotive sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting entries according to Sika Mongolia’s end‑of‑month timetable.
• Perform daily reconciliations of sub‑ledger systems with the general ledger and monitor cash flow.
• Review the monthly trial balance, make adjustments, and ensure payroll is processed confidentially.
• Control accounts payable, bank accounts, stock, trade creditors, and overseas imports.
• Prepare statutory returns such as sales tax, payroll tax, and fringe benefit tax.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register, conduct bi‑annual stock‑takes, and manage capital‑expenditure controls.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s quality system for financial accounting.
• Supervise junior accountants and undertake special projects as directed by the Chief Accountant.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong command of English.
