Digital Business Development Director

About the role

The Digital Business Development Director will lead the group’s digital growth initiatives in Mongolia. Based in Ulaanbaatar, the role focuses on identifying new opportunities, shaping digital strategies and strengthening relationships with institutional and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify digital business opportunities and develop comprehensive business development plans.
• Lead digital lead‑generation campaigns and oversee key account management.
• Negotiate commercial contracts and structure deals that align with the group’s financial products.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, product, marketing and technology teams to ensure digital initiatives support investment and insurance objectives.
• Monitor market trends, analyse performance data and propose enhancements to improve customer experience and revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new‑business development, lead generation and account management within financial services, fintech, insurance or investment management, preferably at director level.
• Strong background in contract negotiation, strategic business planning and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Mongolian proficiency is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ulaanbaatar and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
