PNS Project Coordinator

About the role

World Vision Mongolia is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to lead its Private Non‑Sponsorship (PNS) initiatives. The role focuses on planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting on projects that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children across Mongolia.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate consultative planning, reflection and feedback with project stakeholders and beneficiaries.
• Lead the implementation of PNS‑funded activities in collaboration with local government, civil society and community partners.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient spending in line with donor approvals and World Vision financial policies.
• Develop high‑quality project proposals, concept notes and funding acquisition strategies.
• Monitor project progress, produce regular reports and ensure compliance with donor requirements, national laws and World Vision standards.
• Build local capacity, promote community ownership and foster sustainable, context‑relevant interventions.

Required profile

• Strong project management experience, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Proven ability to develop proposals and secure funding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to child‑focused development and community empowerment.
• Flexibility to work across thematic areas such as education, health, child protection, livelihoods and WASH.
