Internship – Climate Technology Accelerator Fund Support

About the role

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Mongolia is seeking an intern to support the Climate Technology Accelerator Fund (CTAF) and Clean Heating Transition project in Ulaanbaatar’s ger districts. The role offers hands‑on experience in project administration, data management and stakeholder coordination within a climate‑finance context.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling, correspondence and document management.
• Assist procurement processes by preparing requisitions and coordinating with relevant units.
• Collect, enter and manage data for project monitoring and reporting.
• Organise project meetings, workshops and stakeholder consultations, and draft minutes and reports.
• Support communication and visibility activities, including preparation of project materials.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program in energy, environmental science, international development, engineering, climate change or a related field.
• Excellent command of English and Mongolian, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in climate change, green growth and international development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.

What we offer

• Monthly stipend of USD 500.
