Project Geologist

About the role

Astro Geo is seeking a full‑time Project Geologist to join its Ulaanbaatar team. The role combines field leadership with technical analysis, supporting the company’s proprietary tools that accelerate mineral exploration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise field programs, including geological mapping and core logging.
• Oversee drilling operations and ensure data quality.
• Interpret geological data and produce technical reports.
• Contribute to the development, field testing and improvement of Astro Geo’s proprietary products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology or Geoscience.
• Proven experience in geological mapping, core logging and drilling programs.
• Proficiency with GIS or geological modelling software.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in the field and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, data quality and professional standards.
