East Area Development Program Manager

About the role

The East Area Development Program Manager provides strategic leadership for integrated development programmes across the East Region of Mongolia, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s strategy and the Future Ready Sponsorship model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, monitoring, learning and adaptive management of multi‑sectoral programmes covering child well‑being, protection, education, livelihoods, resilience, disaster risk reduction and GEDSI principles.
• Oversee the Future Ready Sponsorship (FRS) implementation, strengthening sponsorship integration, community engagement and evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, communities, donors, sponsors and other stakeholders.
• Provide people‑development leadership, hiring, retaining and coaching staff, and conducting performance conversations.
• Ensure programme quality through the Adaptive Programming Approach and uphold World Vision’s core values.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in strategic planning and managing complex development portfolios.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian faith and values.
• Strong partnership and stakeholder engagement skills.
