Community Coordinator (2 positions) – Songinokhairkhan ADP

About the role

The Community Coordinator acts as a catalyst and partnership broker, building the capacity of local partners and coordinating community‑led initiatives that improve the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families. Working within the Songinokhairkhan area, the role ensures high‑quality programme planning, implementation and monitoring in line with World Vision’s Adaptive Program Approach.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure programme quality through effective planning, implementation and monitoring with communities and partners.
• Develop annual Area Development Program (ADP) plans, manage budgets according to World Vision policies and follow critical paths of the Adaptive Program Approach.
• Engage all most‑vulnerable children (MVC) in age‑appropriate activities and regularly update MVC mapping to track progress.
• Integrate Christian commitment, child protection, environmental considerations and conflict‑resolution into community initiatives.
• Conduct programme quality self‑reviews with stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future planning.
• Collect and analyse monitoring data with community volunteers and partners to inform impact and sustainability indicators.

Required profile

• Proven ability to plan, implement and monitor community programmes.
• Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
• Understanding of child protection, gender‑based issues and conflict‑resolution.
• Commitment to Christian values and ethical standards.
