About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead the HR function of a banking organization, aligning people strategy with business objectives, growth plans, and governance. This senior position shapes talent management, compensation, performance, and employee experience at a strategic level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and plans that support the bank’s business goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development to ensure a stable talent pipeline (EVP).
• Oversee compensation, reward, and performance management systems.
• Drive organizational culture, change management, and performance culture programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation and corporate governance, managing related risks.
• Leverage HR analytics, technology, and process automation to enable data‑driven decision making and efficiency.
• Provide strategic HR counsel to senior leadership and develop the HR team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior HR leadership within a bank or large financial institution.
• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Law, Economics or equivalent; international HR certification (SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
• Proven ability to design and execute HR strategy, policy, culture, talent, succession, and compensation frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of labor law and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English at an advanced level is advantageous.
