Tendering Specialist

About the role

The Tendering Specialist leads the end‑to‑end bidding process, turning client requests into competitive proposals. Working closely with sales, finance, engineering and procurement, the role ensures every tender is prepared accurately, on time and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tender lifecycle from announcement through submission and contract hand‑over.
• Analyse Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs) and technical specifications.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to gather required data, pricing and technical information.
• Verify compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate guidelines while assessing business risks.
• Monitor deadlines, track win/loss ratios and maintain detailed bid records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Law or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, contract management or bid preparation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and time‑management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with e‑tender portals and related procurement software.
