Supply Chain Specialist – Fixed‑Term (Humanitarian)

About the role

World Vision is seeking two Supply Chain Specialists on a fixed‑term basis to support the delivery of humanitarian programmes. The role will ensure efficient sourcing, negotiation and contract management in line with World Vision procedures and donor requirements, contributing to the organization’s child well‑being outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Supply Chain function by translating stakeholder needs into annual business plans and procurement strategies.
• Participate in procurement planning with partners and sub‑grantees, advising on sourcing plans and competitive advantage.
• Conduct market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, and manage RFQ/RFP/RFI processes for assigned categories.
• Lead negotiations, prepare procurement committee submissions and ensure comprehensive documentation for informed decision‑making.
• Review contracts and validate the quality of goods delivered to ensure compliance with World Vision and donor standards.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to line managers to procure the right goods and services at optimal cost.

Required profile

• Familiarity with World Vision procurement procedures and donor compliance requirements.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract review within a humanitarian or development context.
• Ability to support line‑manager decision‑making and collaborate with partners, sub‑grantees and operations teams.
