Parts & Service Training Manager

About the role

Sandvik is looking for a passionate Parts & Service Training Manager to lead and standardise technical training across Mongolia. Based at the UB Head Office, you will build a centralised training function that accelerates workforce capability, closes skills gaps and ensures safe, high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a Zero Harm culture and ensure all training complies with Sandvik EHS policies and ISO standards.
• Develop and implement a centralised training strategy aligned with Parts & Service business objectives.
• Standardise training frameworks, competency models, reporting structures and KPIs.
• Conduct organisation‑wide skills gap assessments and maintain a competency matrix for each role, equipment type and service line.
• Design, roll‑out and continuously improve technical training programmes from basic to advanced levels.
• Manage onboarding pathways, classroom, workshop and field‑based training delivery across UB and site locations.
• Oversee annual training plans, calendars, resource allocation and cost‑effective programme delivery.
• Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness, competency improvement and impact on equipment reliability.
• Support apprentice programmes, succession planning and development of high‑potential technical employees.

Required profile

• Strong passion for the trade and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of training professionals.
• Experience in identifying and closing technical skills gaps in an industrial environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate across multiple sites.
