About the role

Capital Markets Mongolia (CMM) is seeking a Market Analyst to join its Research & Intelligence pillar. The analyst will create investor‑ready research decks that explain Mongolia’s markets and economy to global investors. The position is ideal for a recent graduate with strong analytical abilities and will include training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Produce investor‑ready research decks on Mongolian and regional (Central Asia, frontier markets) economic and financial developments.
• Conduct market research to support CMM’s forums and subscription platform.
• Gather and analyse data for investor‑facing research and presentations.
• Track and summarise developments relevant to Mongolia’s capital markets, resource sector, and macro‑economic policy.
• Ensure research output is clear, credible, and decision‑useful for investors.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Good written English.
• Genuine interest in capital markets, resource economics, or Mongolia’s economic development.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and comfortable working with data.
