Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will join KA Mining LLC’s HR team in Ulaanbaatar, supporting daily HR operations for a large industrial mining organization. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining employee records, assisting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring accurate documentation of contracts and changes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR files.
• Assist with recruitment processes, candidate screening, and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment, tracking, and communication.
• Support performance management cycles and related documentation.
• Help implement and communicate HR policies and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide HR‑related reporting.
• Collaborate with managers to address workforce planning and promote an inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in HR concepts and practices applicable to large industrial settings.
• Experience in HR management, recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
• Knowledge of HR policies, labor regulations, and benefits administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Prior experience in mining or large‑scale operations is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using HR information systems.
