Financial Auditor

About the role

The Financial Auditor will lead comprehensive audits of balance‑sheet accounts, revenue cycles, expenditures and business transactions. You will work closely with finance and operational teams to identify risks, ensure compliance and improve internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits covering balance sheet accounts, revenue cycles, expenditures and business transactions.
• Prepare audit working papers, reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Test internal controls, identify financial risks and recommend improvements to prevent errors and fraud.
• Assess compliance with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data using audit software and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to investigate discrepancies and resolve audit queries.
• Coordinate audit fieldwork, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of engagements.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial auditing, internal controls and risk assessment.
• Understanding of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience preparing audit documentation, working papers and formal audit reports.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and organizational skills.
