Communications Manager

About the role

The Communications Manager will join the Sales and Marketing team at Shangri‑La Ulaanbaatar, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering the hotel’s public image, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting strategic communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, coordinate and participate in all communication activities.
• Focus on public and media relations, allocating roughly 60% of effort to PR and 40% to advertising and collateral development.
• Promote positive communications that enhance the hotel’s image and reinforce the Shangri‑La brand.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts and key stakeholders.
