Audit Senior Associate

About the role

PwC Mongolia is seeking a detail‑oriented Audit Senior Associate to join its audit team. This position is ideal for professionals with a few years of experience in accounting, finance, and auditing who are eager to support clients in achieving compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Analyze financial statements and related documents to assess accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and evaluate risks in financial processes and controls, providing improvement recommendations.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and delivering audit insights.
• Collaborate with team members to meet audit deadlines and quality standards.
• Guide and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Capability to work independently and as part of diverse teams.
